As part of its mission to facilitate health equity for the LGBTIQ community, Yutak focuses on both mental & physical health. We organize workshops on mental health awareness and provide peer counselling. We also setup free HIV testing camps, provide referral with government ICTC centres, and provide assistance to access and adhere medication on HIV (Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART)).

Free Hormone Testing Camp - Pune, June 2026

As part of Pride Month 2026, YUTAK LGBTQ Trust, Pune, in collaboration with Harbinger Group, successfully organized a Free Hormone Testing Camp in Pune on Monday, 30 June 2026.

A total of 20 eligible transgender and gender-diverse participants benefited from this initiative, receiving hormone testing worth ₹2000–₹3000 per person at no cost.

Yutak LGBTQ Trust extends sincere gratitude to the team Harbinger Group Mr. Adhiraj Gadgil, Mr. Neville Postwalla, Mrs. Ruby Baksi and Mrs. Prajakta Kale for sponsoring this initiative, a warm welcome and creating queer-friendly space, and to the doctor - Saraswati Jangam, counselor - Pravin Sonawane and lab technician - Ramesh Paithane and volunteers Gauravi and Shubhangi whose sensitive and professional support made this camp possible.

This initiative reaffirmed that access to affirming healthcare is a right, and we remain committed to building more such inclusive health programs.

Free HIV and Syphilis Testing Camp - Pune, Feb 2026

On February 15th, we successfully hosted a free HIV and Syphilis Testing Camp dedicated to the LGBTIQ community. In collaboration with Family Planning Association of India, we completed 29 tests, taking a vital step toward accessible healthcare for all. Huge thanks to Pride Fund India for supporting this initiative! A special shoutout to our incredible volunteers—Sakshi, Dhanashree, Parth and Chaitanya—Psychology students from SPPU who brought empathy and dedication to the day.
